About the Exhibition

This show is a reflection of my deep love for nature and the joy it brings me—especially the birds that flutter outside my studio window and the ever-changing beauty of the garden. Many of the mixed media pieces have a layered, stained-glass feel with vibrant details that invite the viewer to pause and find lightness in everyday moments.

"Come with me into the woods. Where spring is advancing, as it does, no matter what, not being singular or particular, but one of the forever gifts, and certainly visible."

 ~ Mary Oliver

Artist Statement

As a multidisciplinary artist based in Creston, BC, I find endless inspiration in the natural world around me. My work is a joyful response to the gardens I tend, the birds that visit my yard, and the changing seasons that shape our days.

My mixed media collages bring a touch of whimsy and tranquility to any space, with a play on light, color, and texture. Influenced by stained glass and Art Deco design, my paintings are meant to uplift and soothe—sparking a sense of wonder in those who view them. Whether you’re drawn to bold florals or curious songbirds, I hope my work brings a little joy to your day and beauty to your surroundings.
